Scanning reads the crossed-off cells on a printed sheet and credits stars — on the day each chore was actually done, not the day you scan.
Scan it in five steps

Go to Settings → Scan.

Pick the child whose sheet you're scanning.

Capture the sheet with the document scanner.
4
Review the chores it found.
5
Confirm to apply the stars.
For a clean read
- Lay the sheet flat, in good light.
- Fill the frame with the page.
- Use clear pen marks. The scanner crops and straightens the page for you.
Good to know
- It's a Premium feature.
- Scanning needs iOS 15.5 or later.
- Stars post to the correct day of the week.
