Chores for kids without a phone
Keep the chores-and-rewards habit for young or screen-free kids: print, do, scan — no device for the child.
Updated 2026-06-28The problem
Plenty of kids are too young for a phone, share a family device, or live in a deliberately screen-free home. They still benefit from the same habit: do your chores, earn a reward.
The Bunny Rewards way
One parent runs the app. The child never needs a device. The bridge between them is a single sheet of paper — printed at the start of the week, scanned at the end.
A week, start to finish
- Sunday — print this week's sheet and put it on the fridge.
- All week — your child crosses off each chore as they do it, with a pen.
- Next Sunday — scan the sheet. Stars appear on the right days, and the reward unlocks.
Why it works
It's tactile and visible — a chart on the fridge beats a notification. There's no screen time for the child, and you stay in control: you review every scan before stars are credited.
Set it up
Start with printing the weekly sheet, then scanning it back in. New to the app? Read getting started first.
